  • Better Basecamp integration.
  • We actively check our UserVoice feedback

Final Words

This has been a long time coming. We started working on Wallsome over a year ago, as a side project. We have been really stoked by the number of users, but of course we hope to get much more!! Share the word. And, we are excited to start bringing in new functionality, and devoting even more time to making Wallsome awesome!!

Our Current Backlog

by Timothy Payton — August 30, 2010

I wanted to share with you what we are working on, and what is at the top of our backlog. In order of highest priority to lowest. There are many other items in our backlog. However, these are definitely going to be done, and are our top priority.

Feedback Integration

We do want your feedback, for now info@wallsome.com. We will be integrating UserVoice, a webapp for gathering user feedback, very soon.

Product Backlog View

We are doing this agile, so cannot guarantee what this will include. As we iterate over it, it looks like it will have these features:

  • ability to see all todo lists, pending todo lists, or unassigned todo lists
  • a quick way to edit a single todo list, including the description and related milestone
  • ability to reorder the todo lists directly on the backlog view

After delivering these basic features, we will see what else makes sense, and add new features that really fit to the backlog view. We see this as important for Scrum as the task board.

Navigation

We want to bring our navigation more inline with Basecamp. A launchpad that allows you to select a Basecamp account. A dashboard that allows you to select projects. And a project navigation that allows you to select milestones. We recognize our current solution is not clean and simple, Basecamp's is.

Comments

We also want to improve the comments on a todo item. Simply by better formatting and adding an icon that will appear if there are comments.

Billing System

Yes, it's coming. We have spent a lot of time discussing what this will be like. We will be starting coding this soon. Once our pricing plans are clearer, we will also announce those.

We hope you like what's in our backlog!

Introducing the Wallsome Blog

by Sebastian Röbke — August 01, 2010

From the moment we launched the beta version of the Wallsome app, we knew that we would need an easy way to let you know about product updates. While our Twitter account works great for small notices about new features and bug fixes, we were missing a place to share more details and general articles about Wallsome.

That's why we are happy to introduce the Wallsome Blog, a place where we will write about all the interesting things that just don't fit within 140 characters.
